Jennifer Nolan (B.F.A., illustration, 1999) was born and raised on the New Jersey shore and was first introduced to Savannah while attending SCAD. After graduation, she was hired at a Savannah art gallery and pursued fine art. Nolan is inspired by nature and her paintings most commonly depict animals, birds, shells, feathers and other living things found outside and underwater. She has exhibited in many galleries here and abroad, and exhibited work at the Georgia State Capitol. Currently, her work can be found at galleries in Savannah and Atlanta. Nolan currently lives in Savannah with her artist husband Bernard Nolan (B.F.A., painting, 1998) and raising their five boys.
